What Is A Higher Self?

Your Higher Self is the wisest, truest version of you. The part that exists beyond fear, beyond ego, beyond your past. They aren’t separate from you, they are you, just without the human noise. 

It’s the version of you that already knows your purpose, your truth, your healing and your future. They’re who you are underneath it all, before you were shaped by pain, expectations or human conditioning/programming. 

Think of your Higher Self like the eternal part of your Soul that’s watching lovingly from above, gently guiding you home. While your human self makes choices, stumbles, loves, hurts and grows.

Your Higher Self holds the blueprint, they whisper through intuition, gut feelings, dreams, synchronicities, even déjà vu. When you get a sudden solution to a problem, a song that won’t stop repeating, a creative idea, clarity you shouldn’t know or have access to, that’s often your Higher Self nudging you.

It’s not a god or a guide outside of you. They are you, in your clearest, most Divine form. The you that remembers why you came here, that sees the whole picture when you can only see a corner. When you’re aligned with them, life flows, decisions feel right, you feel calm, clear and held in unconditional love.

Everyone has the ability to clearly communicate with their Higher Self. Sadly, I’ve never heard of or met anyone who can. Having access to this part of your Soul is life changing, it’s a direct link to your Source Stream (once you clear heavy traumas/ego conditioning).

What Is A Soul Cord?

A soul cord is an energetic tether that forms between two souls who have truly seen each other. It exists in the unseen, but it is felt deeply in the body, in the heart, the belly, the throat. It carries emotion, memory, lessons and frequency. It is the invisible current that pulls you toward someone even when they are far away. It is the reason you think of them out of nowhere, feel their emotions in your chest or dream of them in vivid detail.

Soul cords can form with any Soul that’s emotionally attached to you depending on the intensity. Sometimes they present as a thread (this would be for someone holding onto you that you’ve let go or vise versa). Soul cords or energetic threads can be formed with friends, family, colleagues, third parties, past life attachments, trauma and love. 

This cord is not just emotional, it’s spiritual. When you meet someone who shifts you on a Soul level, the cord forms automatically and naturally as a response to recognition. Sometimes it’s soft and silver, glowing with love. Sometimes it’s thick and tangled, carrying old karma and unresolved lessons. Sometimes it’s pulsing with desire, other times woven with pain or fear. It evolves as you do.

Between Twin Flames or divine counterparts, the Soul cord is ancient. It’s written in your Soul contracts, it connects you across lifetimes. It can activate gifts, awaken truths and shake you to your core. It can be unbearable in separation and overwhelming in closeness but it’s never meaningless, it exists to wake you up.

The cord can become distorted. If your love becomes attachment or if one Soul clings while the other flees, the energy can become draining. You don’t always need to cut it, sometimes you’re meant to soften it, cleanse it or shift the way you hold it. When love is real, the cord becomes a thread of light, not a chain. You remain free, even while connected.

What Is A Soul Contract?

A Soul contract is like a spiritual agreement your Soul makes before you’re born. It’s not a legal contract but more of a deep energetic blueprint. You create it alongside other souls (like your family, friends, lovers, even challengers) and with the help of your spiritual guides. These contracts outline the key lessons, experiences and relationships you’ve agreed to explore in this lifetime in order to grow, heal and evolve.

Some parts of a soul contract are gentle. You may have chosen to meet someone who would remind you how worthy and lovable you are. Others are more difficult, you may have agreed to go through heartbreak, loss or betrayal as a pathway to awakening your strength, boundaries or truth.

In this life, Soul contracts can show up as patterns, roles or situations that feel fated. You could keep attracting the same type of partner until you learn to love yourself first or you could feel an instant connection with someone, like you’ve known them forever. You may have a deep calling to do something that doesn’t make sense logically but feels right in your Soul. These are signs you’re living out a soul contract.

Soul contracts can carry over from previous incarnations, especially if something was left unfinished. If you had unresolved karma, pain or love with someone in another life, your Souls might agree to meet again and try a different path.

If you betrayed someone in a past life, you might come back to repair that bond or if you died before fulfilling a mission, you may return with a stronger voice and clearer purpose. If you were deeply in love but torn apart, you might reunite to finally choose each other fully or to set each other free.

Soul contracts aren’t meant to trap you, they’re meant to wake you up. You still have free will, you can rewrite, release or complete them as you grow. The purpose is to remember who you are on a Soul level and to return to love, even after pain.
